Bone Button Borscht is a musical puppet folktale based on the classic Jewish story of a wandering stranger who teaches a village the true meaning of community and sharing.
Presented by AVE Choir Toronto in partnership with the Canadian Forum of Russian-Speaking Jewry, Puppets for U, and Jewish Women’s Club Toronto, the performance brought together music, puppetry, and Eastern European folk-art storytelling for audiences of all ages.
The event took place at Earl Bales Community Center and was free and open to the public.
